How To Install Glock Sights - I've used many different combinations of sights over time. Three-dot white sights, fiber optics, three-dot night vision, and more. Through this experience, I narrowed down my favorite looks. I like how the front looks tall and the back looks dark. I also like the rear view. There are so many companies making sights these days, which gives me a lot of options when it comes to choosing a sight, especially when it comes to popular pistols like the Glock line.
When I was assembling my 80% Lower Glock, I found that I had a myriad of sight options. I found my favorite sights on the Gen 3 Glock 17 socket, specifically the Larry Vickers Glock socket. While most people buy front and rear combos from the same company, there are always mix and match options. My Glock sights are actually a combination of two different sights.
How To Install Glock Sights
My crosshair is the Ameriglo I-Dot Pro. These metal platforms are built for excellent visibility in any lighting condition. They are made of Barstock steel for durability. My unit is an aqua fiber optic insert designed to be retrieved quickly and easily during the day. In the middle is a tritium bottle that glows in low light conditions.

The reticle is quick and easy to find, the quicker you can find the reticle, the faster you can hit your target and respond to threats faster. The I-Dot is a very simple system to use. With a quick acquisition, you can easily focus on the crosshair and stay accurate with this setup at distances outside of standard pistol range.
The rear sight is from the Wilson company known for custom 1911s. This is their battle map, which is the rear view of the U slot. It is also made of metal for durability. Optionally use the slide rails to place it on your belt or on a table if necessary. It's made entirely of metal, making it extremely strong and durable.
Move the back as far back as possible to increase the radius of vision. The more you have, the easier it is to shoot from a distance. The rear sight is also serrated to reduce glare.
The entire system comes together and blends together for a simple yet effective look. The rear view mirrors are blacked out so there is no confusion as to which is the front view. You can quickly and easily find the crosshair and aim it as a natural part of your shot. It's very unique, which makes it a quick way to find and reach targets.

I haven't found a way to remove the plants without destroying the beautiful parts. I tried it twice and crashed both scenes each time. The best way to remove and/or install these factory sights is to use the Glock rear sight tool. It consists of a tooth and some spacers to hold the sight properly and securely when removed or inserted, and allows precise and easy installation/removal without damaging the trim.
However, these Vision tools are quite expensive, starting at around $90 if you buy them online. If you find it under $90, it's a steal. It sells for P12k ($280) each at the Makati Cinema Square gun shop. The price is too high for something you rarely use, so if you're strapped for cash, you'll have to find another way to make money.
The first thing to know is the correct direction to remove/install views. If you're looking at the back of the slide, you should move left to right. Alternatively, when setting the view, the direction should be right to left. Apparently the Glock tightened up the tail area of those spokes for the sight on the left side of the chute, so the exit/entry should only be on the right side of the chute.
Note that the stock scope comes in two parts, the metal holder at the bottom of the scope and the polymer eyepiece itself. There is a risk of the metal bracket falling off during support. When this happens, you won't see that grip. Remember that it is also wider on one side than the other.

However, you can easily find the correct orientation for this handle by placing it in the dovetail area. Put it one way, then another way and try again. Whichever side allows you to push the handle deeper into the dovetail area is the correct direction.
Make sure to lubricate the eyepiece and the dovetail it sits on during insertion. Grease it liberally, you will need its help to achieve this look.
Then you'll need to buy a rubber or plastic stamp or hammer to remove the look. I bought a relatively large (about a foot long, 2" diameter, 3" rubber tip) rubber mallet from Ace. Hardware, it costs only P200. I wanted a small hammer or a fist, but that was the only one I had.

After inserting the sight into the tail area of the spoke, try to push it by hand as far as it will go no further. And then you slowly start hitting that scene and it slowly sinks into it. Remember not to push too hard, your goal is to push a little bit per pound.
If all goes well, your factory sight should fit correctly on the slide, but there may be very slight, barely noticeable distortion on the side you hit. It's usually not that obvious unless you look closely.
Another option is to simply buy a factory adjustable scope. These sights are easy to install as you just place the dovetail block on the dovetail area and screw the sight on. Any adjustments into the windward direction (i.e. to the side) are easily made using the wind direction adjustment. These skins are more expensive, but are usually 2 1/2 times the MCS store price. However, they will save you some time and work.
